Every year, in the Autumn Term, King Edwards School holds an Arts Festival, VivArtis which is one of the most popular events in the Surrey Arts calendar and has become Southern Englandss most significant art and sculpture exhibition. In its 13th year, the Festival goes from strength to strength with over 400 professional and amateur artists exhibiting in the school Exhibition Hall. It also features Surrey Sculpture Societys largest outdoor Sculpture Trail, which winds its way through the schools attractive leafy grounds and courtyards.
Last year was our most successful year ever, with more than 6,000 visitors from local schools, adult art groups, groups for disabled people and many more. We pride ourselves on being all-inclusive, and for the second year running there will be a dedicated exhibition of the work of members of The Arthouse, part of the Meath Home in Godalming, celebrating the talents of adults living with learning disabilities.
