Pick the perfect present at charity’s gift fair

Historic Ramster Hall in Chiddingfold will host the Ramster Gift Fair this autumn to raise money for Action Medical Research. The beautiful wedding venue will be transformed into a shoppers’ paradise with more than 50 stalls in aid of the West Sussex-based children’s charity on 4-5 October.

The fair is the perfect opportunity to pick up some unique early Christmas presents in stunning surroundings, with stalls selling food, gifts, jewellery and practical paraphernalia, while the cafe provides a great spot to rest your weary feet and grab a sandwich or slice of cake before heading back for more shopping.
The Ramster Gift Fair has been raising money for Action Medical Research for more than 11 years and has raised more than £80,000 to date.

The event will be open from 10am until 4pm on Tuesday, 4 October, and Wednesday, 5 October. Entry is £5 and there is ample free parking.

NEWS RELEASE 6 October 2016

Haslemere Mayor opens children’s charity gift fair

Sahran Abeysundara, the Mayor of Haslemere, opened the Ramster Gift Fair at historic Ramster Hall in Chiddingfold earlier this week.

The fair, which took place on Tuesday, 4 October, and Wednesday, 5 October, saw the stunning hall transformed into a shoppers’ paradise with dozens of stalls in aid of children’s charity Action Medical Research.

The Ramster Gift Fair has been raising money for Action Medical Research for more than 11 years and has raised more than £80,000 to date to help save and change children’s lives.
“The weather was glorious and the venue looked stunning; there were 60 stalls selling a delectable variety of products from dog beds to fudge and pink gin to silk jackets,” says Alice Lisher, Community Fundraiser for Action Medical Research.
“We were delighted that Sahran Abeysundara, Haslemere’s Mayor, was able to open the fair – we are very grateful that he has chosen Action Medical Research as one of his charities of the year.
“As usual we had the most amazing support from our volunteers, including members of the Rotary Club of Haslemere, and we simply couldn’t have run it without them.”
