Chiddingfold
Watercolour Group

  1. Chiddingfold Watercolour Group is run for the pleasure of watercolour painting and to encourage local interest in art.
    The Group meets on Tuesday evenings 7.30 - 9.30 pm in the autumn and spring terms in the Charles Watts Room at Chiddingfold Village Hall. Students with some experience and absolute beginners are welcome

  2. Class tuition is by Allan Thomson, Robert Terry and Wendy Pollington as well as other guest artists who demonstrate the evening’s painting in stages. This allows students of all levels to follow the simple washes and colours used.
    Allan, who is a well known artist from Haslemere, paints landscapes, seascapes and townscapes in subtle washes.
    Robert uses similar watercolour techniques, but also works with pen and wash and uses limited colours and textures.
    Wendy produces a wide variety of work as well as flower paintings.

  3. The Autumn Session is from 29th September to 8th December 2009 (ten weeks) (excluding ½ term)

  4. The Chiddingfold Art & Craft Exhibition will be held in the VH & CWR on:

    • Friday 30th October 20.00 - 22.00 (Preview by invitation only);

    • Saturday 31st October 10.00 – 17.00 (Free public entry):

    • Sunday 1st November 10.00 – 16.00 (Free public entry).

    If you wish to exhibit work (of any amateur art or craft) this is open to all Parish residents and members of the Watercolour Group.
